GPP Academy – Closing the Loop: Circularity Tour at Mindfield
Have you ever wondered what happens to your coffee grounds after your morning brew?
We’re excited to invite you to kick off 2026 with the first GPP Academy Workshop of the year — Closing the Loop: Circularity Tour at Mindfield, a green enterprise devoted to sustainable living and circular economy practices in Hong Kong.
Since 2024, Swire Properties has partnered with Mindfield to collect and recycle used coffee grounds from our office and F&B tenants across Hong Kong. These collected grounds are then transformed into a high-quality local compost that can be used for landscaping and gardening.
In this interactive workshop, you will:
- Explore the “close-the-loop” concept of turning waste into valuable resources
- Get hands-on with planting and enjoy a farm-to-table experience!

Shuttle service will be provided as follows:
- Outbound Trip — One Island East, Taikoo Place (Depart at 13:20) → One Pacific Place, Pacific Place (Depart at 13:40) → Mindfield
- Return Trip (Depart at 17:00) — Mindfield→ Sheung Shui MTR Station → Hong Kong MTR Station
